Mole Removal

Say goodbye to unwanted moles

What is Cosmetic Mole Removal?

Cosmetic mole removal is the process of removing a benign mole (non-cancerous) for cosmetic reasons such as not liking its appearance or size. We offer fibroblast and electrolysis mole removal along with skin tag removal at Swann Beauty. With qualified staff at your service, we can remove entire moles, skin lesions or skin tags. If you are interested in removing suspicious moles that may be cancerous, please contact your doctor’s surgery for medical advice or guidance.

Why Choose Swann Beauty for Private Mole Removal?

At our clinic, mole removal is carried out by Kelly Swann, our highly qualified Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber with over 20 years of experience in advanced skin treatments. We always ensure every procedure is safe, effective, and tailored to each client. If Kelly has any concerns about the appearance of a mole, she will always recommend that it is checked by a GP before proceeding with removal.

Furthermore, our mole removal treatment offers minimal downtime, so you can resume regular activities shortly after your mole removal procedure is complete. We also provide aftercare instructions to ensure an efficient, quick healing process. Whether you choose Swann Beauty for laser removal, electrolysis or any other advanced skin treatment, you can relax with complete peace of mind, knowing that our staff always offer excellent standards of care.

Is Cosmetic Mole Removal Right For You?

Our cosmetic mole removal service is suitable for anyone wanting to remove harmless moles, whether that be facial moles or those on the body. Offering two different mole removal methods, staff can remove larger moles or smaller skin tags, depending on your needs. The two different methods of mole removal we use are fibroblast and electrolysis. We currently offer laser mole removal surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We’re here to help

As a private provider, our prices start from £100 for electrolysis mole removal, thread veins and milia removal services. We do not currently offer laser treatment for the removal of moles. You can find our complete price list here – we don’t have any hidden costs. If you would like us to remove additional moles during your appointment, please get in touch with us for a quote.

You may be left with a small linear scar after the mole removal procedure. Very rarely, a person with very dark or light skin may have an abnormal response and end up with hypertrophic or keloid scars (larger scars). These scars are more likely if you or a family member has had them before. In the event that this happens, your doctor may prescribe a silicon scar cream to treat the scar.

You will typically experience very minimal pain or mild discomfort during the private treatment. Our staff use non-surgical procedures to remove moles, so there is less pain and downtime compared to surgical conventional procedures, but similar results. You can speak to a member of staff at your pre-procedure consultation regarding any other queries you may have, for complete peace of mind.

No, we are unable to check moles for skin cancer and only remove benign moles. Some moles may be linked to melanoma, due to the sun’s UV rays, which is one of the most common forms of skin cancer. You should always check any suspicious moles with your GP or consultant dermatologist. They will be able to check moles for signs of skin cancer and provide referrals for mole removal, so you can be seen by expert doctors. They may also arrange for moles to be tested at a specialised laboratory at the hospital.
