Though laser tattoo removal can hurt, it is likely to be less painful than getting a tattoo. The pain associated with tattoo removal is comparable to a bad sunburn, and the laser pulses feel like rubber bands snapping against your skin.
It is possible for side effects to occur when laser energy is delivered per area too excessively when treating a tattoo. There may be pinpoint bleeding and scarring as a result. As part of the tattoo removal and healing process, blisters and scabs are common side effects but using soothing cream before and after the treatment can help to reduce the side effects.
Light blue is the hardest colour to remove, followed by green. Neon colours are also very difficult to remove and often require multiple laser treatments. Tattoo pigments generally perform better when the colour contrast between the pigment and your skin is greater.
